I am actually happy that CA has quantified that indicator, that it does not
indicate mobile phone penetration per population, and the only way they do
that is through household surveys. The last ICT survey available on their
website is for 2010
ca.go.ke/downloads/publications/national-ict-survey/ although
there is also the ICT access gap sturdy of 2016.
CA should make the ICT access survey an annual event.
CA should also ask operators to indicate the fraudulent numbers owned by
Kamiti prison boys that they have clamped down. I have started keeping a
tab of all the fraud numbers that contact me with all sort of schemes here
https://twitter.com/LORDMWESH/status/1239471178227556352
After I while I check if the numbers have been de-activated. NON .
CA should also give statistics on number of reported stolen phones, and
recovered phones, similar to the issue @Odhiambo Washington
<[email protected]> was raising.
