Call for Workshop Proposals: Africa Tech Policy Summit 2025

The Africa Tech Policy Summit (AfTPS) 2025 is set to take place from May 12-16 in Nairobi, Kenya, bringing together policymakers, private sector leaders, academia, civil society, and tech innovators. This inaugural summit aims to foster collaboration and harmonise technology policies across Africa to drive digital innovation and societal transformation.

As part of the summit, KICTANet will also host the Kenya and East African Internet Governance Forums (IGFs), which are regional platforms dedicated to open, inclusive, and multi-stakeholder discussions on Internet governance. Leading up to these forums, we invite workshop proposals that explore key policy challenges and opportunities in Africa’s evolving digital landscape.

Why Submit a Workshop Proposal?

The AfTPS 2025 thematic workshops will offer in-depth discussions and collaborative engagements, bringing together experts and stakeholders to address pressing issues in tech policy. Selected workshops will be interactive, solutions-oriented sessions designed to generate actionable insights for Africa’s digital future.
