As part of the Developing Data <developingdata.org> project, CIPESA
in partnership with the University of Edinburgh, Centre of African Studies
and the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law
(CIPIT) are organising a workshop on *The Data Politics of Pandemics
<developingdata.org/data-politics/data-covid/>, *which will explore
the extent to which politics interferes with the collection and reporting
of data on pandemics on the African continent.
