KICTANet’s Board of Trustees held talks with high-ranking Malaysian officials, who paid a courtesy visit on Thursday.
Led by Dr Grace Githaiga, the discussions with H.E. Ruzaimi Mohamad, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Kenya, and Ms Syufiza Yusof, Lead – Africa Market Access at the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), focused on fostering connections between Kenyan and Malaysian companies in the digital space.
This strategic partnership presents a win-win situation. Kenyan companies gain access to Malaysia’s well-established digital expertise, while Malaysian firms can tap into Kenya’s vibrant and rapidly growing tech market.
“As we build business and industry linkages across borders, KICTANet’s multistakeholder model enables us to work with governments to provide market opportunities and access,” said Mwendwa Kivuva, KICTANet’s head of the Operations Department.
