WhatsApp to Move Ahead with its Privacy Updates

I am not sure how they will be able to justify this move legally in Kenya
due to the DPA. They won’t be able to prove that the consent from users in
Kenya was freely given. They therefore expose themselves to litigation as
well as regulatory action by the data commissioner. This will be the case
in every other country that has enacted data protection laws substantially
similar to the GDPR.

Best regards
Joe
